The LandRush game is based on the historical Oklahoma Land Rush of 1889 that started at high noon on April 22, 1889 with an estimated 50,000 people lined up for their piece of the available two million acres in the unassigned lands that included several counties of the state.

LandRush is a free app with additional options such as Multi-player, Random Fill and an additional 3 levels for iPad enabled by a small one time purchase. Each level of the game has several parcels to be claimed. A parcel is claimed by the player marking the last unavailable side of the parcel during his or her turn.
